Né à Sorel en 1981, Carl a d'abord débuté à la batterie à l'âge de 12 ans. Alors grand fan de musique "alternative" (Pearl Jam, Nirvana) il pratiqua la batterie jusqu'à l'âge de 17 ans. L'attrait de la guitare eu finalement raison de lui et il se lanca dans la grande aventure du Blues.

C'est sur les enregistrements de Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonnamassa et Kenny Wayne Sheppard que Carl a appris à maîtriser la guitare. Son jeu enlevant et à saveur plus rock parvient à toucher toutes les générations qui constitue le public blues et rock. De la classique "Stratocaster" jusqu'à la très flashy "Flying V" et en passant par son modèle fétiche, la "Gigliotti", Carl nous propose un son à la fois riche et diversifié.

Il est l'un des principaux acteurs du Rosy Blues Band tant à la direction artistique qu'à la logistique. Ayant beaucoup d'entregent, il navigue parmi la scène blues de Montréal en établissant des contacts importants avec les médias et les autres formations blues.

Il est aussi diplômé en enregistrement sonore du centre de formation "Musitecnic" de Montréal. Cette spécialisation lui permet de s'assurer que les prestations du Rosy Blues Band s'accompagnent d'une qualité sonore qui sera à la hauteur du spectacle. Il a d'ailleurs signé la totalité des enregistrements studio qui ont ponctués la carrière du band.


Born in Sorel in 1981, Carl first started at 12 years old at drums. Back then, He was a alternative music fan (Pearl Jam, Nirvana) and pratice drums until 17 years old. Guitar appeal finally get on him and he jumped in the Blues' great adventure.

It's on Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Joe Bonnamassa's records that Carl learn to play guitar. His rock flavored guitar skills touch the heart of many generation across the blues and rock fans. From the classic Stratocaster through the flashy Flying "V", passing by exotics guitars like the "Gigliotti", Carl is putting up a rich and varied sound.

He is one of the main characters in the Rosy Blues Band. He takes in charge the lead in artistic direction and in logistic. He also sail easily through the Montréal Blues scene, making contacts evenly with the media and with other blues band.

Carl is also a sound engineer alumni from the Montréal Musitecnic Multimedia center. This formation gives him the ability to give the Rosy Blues Band a near to perfect sound each and every times he get on stage with the band. He also signed every studio records that occured since the early days of the band.
